Title: Can a dv+ be fitted to any revision of original dv?

I've got an old ripped rev b or maybe c or the g that's on the car,  I want to get a refund if the g is torn as it's less than a year old so can I put my new dv+ on an older revision dv solenoid?

Yes the solenoid part is the same as any of the others

Solenoid is the same.

You'll probably be offered a free replacement rather than a refund under the VAG warranty - happened to me, I now have one brand new Rev G and one that's covered about 250 miles sat in a cupboard at home as I went gFB DV+ using a rev D solenoid I had
