Title: GTI MK5 fault codes
Post by: Black9 on August 05, 2016, 09:19:38 pm
I have the following codes on my car,

Abs
Traction
Handbrake
Steering angle
Tire pressure

Cars been parked up for a year and I've jus got it back on the road, tried to have the codes cleared but they won't clear. What's my next option?

Have you tried driving in straight line for 20m?

Yeah I drove it around for an hour or so and all lights are still on. The car ran perfect before it was parked up... I think the abs and traction control lights are related.. Possibly dirty abs sensors?

Could well be the sensors picking up particals of metal. @Black9 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=3407) a scan would give you the exact wheel sensor that's playing up.
