As title, I changed the front and rear pads yesterday and the paint is shot, especially the rears. What paint has anyone used or can recommend?
I can get E-Tech for £11, Foliatec for £19 or rather than caliper paint go for hammerite?

Foliatec.
I used hsmmerite on my rears and wish I hadn't.

Had this on previous cars lasted well http://rustoleum.co.uk/metal-paint/combicolor.html

Nevr used Hammerite on calipers. Elesewhere v good.
Used Foliatec on my old fronts, waste of time and money. 3 coats aplied, and really needed another!
-
You must not have used it correctly. I did 2 sets of r32 fronts and it worked perfectly with 2/3 coats.

My Ed. 30 has the calipers painted red with Foliatec spray. Seems to be holding fine. :happy2:

I reckon it might have been old stock. It also took forever to "dry" for a two pack.

Cheers guys, I'll get some Foliatec ordered from ECP as they sent me a 25% off code.

I am a Hammerite fan, Done countless sets over the Years on different cars. All good.

I've used Hammerite on calipers before and as long as you take your time and clear the caliper before and give them time to dry they will be fine.
However, I havent used hammerite on my 4pots
