Steering Part Number is 1K0 953 549 AQ and Slip Ring 2
looking to install cruise control (and i already have the buttons just need to install)
is this just a straight swop?

Not quite sure if I understand what you're asking? Are you asking if your steering wheel control module will support cruise control? According to this it will:

Or are you saying you've already got a MFSW that you plan to install as well? If so, is it a mk5 or mk6 and if it's a mk6 do you already have a mk5 MFSW installed?

sorry for the lack of info!
i have 57 plate gti dsg mk5
correct asking if the steering wheel control module will support cruise control and i have MSFW Buttons which i want to install (have already got these buttons, just need install)

To install the buttons you'll need the airbag loom that supports buttons. Other than that it's just coding em in.
