Oh, this is sad... another one taken.... 2016 has seen so many of my screen / music / comedy icons stolen from us. It's been a bad year. I don't know any of them personally, yet they seem to have been such a part of our lives.... growing up as teenagers, then into 20's' etc into middle / older age.

Only just heard about this - clearly a news blackout in my office today!

Him & Richard Prior were such a pair - sadly neither are with us anymore.

Wilder and prior were a great comedy duo. Staple comedy films whilst I was growing up

I suppose you have a decent innings once you are north of 80
