Need slit toe help please guys . Not yet but soon will be selling my mk5 06 gti , it's dsg , leather also full vwsh . I am the second owner since 2007 and the car has only 30,000 on it .
She is near enough mint .
Trouble is I've looked on auto trader etc and there's nothing to compare it with so am finding it hard to price it .(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fuploads.tapatalk-cdn.com%2F20160830%2Fe432032ad30c362d8d6ec849985ce7df.jpg&hash=31b1a94331056ece2b06d37577da78802ede18ad)

There are a few with about 40k going for £8k dealer prices so I'd say knock a grand off of that if selling private.
Don't forget it's a 10 year old car now and people just see them as that. Much more money than that and it starts getting into the ed30 territory. Which is probably your main enemy.

Bought mine from a main dealer a few months back. Nearly the same as yours: 26k miles, full leather, vwsh, 1 owner, but with a manual gearbox. I paid ~£7.5k for it, which seemed good value compared to others out there at the time, given the history etc. Didnt really look too much into DSG but imagine it adds a little to the resale value?
All this seems to be pretty much in line with what @slix (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=14819) said :happy2:
I'd be interested to hear what you put it up for/what you get for it in a private sale.

Why do you say second owner since 2007? How many before 2007? Not having a go, just be careful in how it's described, as it can look as though you're trying to hide something.....
With that spec / mileage etc, I would have thought demand would be high, as there aren't that many like that.

Hi thanks for the replays lads every bit helps . Not hiding anything it's had one owner before me and I brought the car with 2000 on it in 2007 . Starting to get a feel for what to ask for it
