Title: MK5 GTI Car Mats
Post by: jaylufc17 on August 31, 2016, 09:45:44 am
Found these on ebay but was wondering whether there are any genuine rubber versions?

These are the ones that were in mine when I brought the car...

I'd enquire at the dealers seem a bit over priced to me!!!

Stumbled across these a while back - slightly cheaper!

Fronts and rears sold separately. Also check if you have the "stud" or "oval" fittings in your car for fixing the mats down. These appear to be the "stud" type looking at the image, but know my car, with mats the same as your original post, use the twisty "oval" ones.

Also just noticed the image shows left hand drive - even though the site is for a uk dealer. Stock image no doubt; better give them a call.

It's personal preference, but I think that velour/ fabric mats are much better than rubber - depends on what you bring in on yer boots, I suppose. I paid something like that at TPS a few months back for the fabric ones with red logo and red edge stitching. They are OEM VW and look/fit very good
