i have bought the steering wheel buttons of @pashka and currently need the loom for this... anyone know the part number or anybody selling them? (paska hasnt got any currently)
i own a golf gti DSG 57 plate mk5

if you have paddles you dont need any loom. the cables plug right into the module in the steering wheel then just need coding :happy2:
-
thanks! yeah ive got mk5 gti DSG
i told midland vw my spec and hes said i need the loom from the slip ring to the buttons on the wheel
I have the AQ version and believe its Slip Ring Type 2 (highline)

i'm 99% sure you dont. i believe you would on a manual car but lifes so much easier for us DSG guys. we dont even have to buy a new steering wheel :innocent:

i have the buttons but haven't fitted as i don't have the loom. i do have dsg though.... but only the midline clocks (didn't know about that when i got the buttons) so keen to know if the above is correct

brilliant. if they plug straight in. i only want the volume control as it annoys me taking my hand off the wheel!
