Title: Weird knocking noise
Post by: DomBacon on September 09, 2016, 10:57:10 pm
I have a bit of a weird knocking noise after I come off the accelerater. Does it at low, medium and high speeds.
Recently changed my engine mounts and fitted a dog bone insert mount and still does it.
Can't think what it could be and its driving me insane  :signLOL:

Anyone know what it could be?

Thanks Dom.

I had a tapping noise when I went over bumps or accelerated and decelerated hard and I discovered one of the torx screws on the wheel liners had come away from the inner wing and was flapping about. It made it sound like a tinny tapping noise. Just a thought.

I'll have a look but I don't think it'll be that. Cheers anyways

Subframe bolts? Quite regularly documented. In fact, there's an aftermarket set of bolts that fix this, made by Tyrolsport.

I was going to say subframe aswell, my first eddy had similar noises and I also had the complete revo/eurojet mounts. Fitted the subframe spacer kit and also replaced all the other bolts and it stopped
