Title: Golf mk5 turbo problem 1.9tdi

Having trouble with my golf, 1.9 Tdi BXE engine, turbo failed on me so put a new turbo on, new intercooler and flushed out oil feed pipes (local garage), as soon as I drove it away I could hear the exact same turbo whilstle that was there before the turbo failed. Help/advice needed!

have you checked for boost leaks and make sure the actuator is working as it should

Thanks for the reply. As it's a remanufactured turbo I'm assuming the actuator will be OK? And my mechanic has said there are no boost leaks. He also says that the turbo sounds fine to him however I notice it getting worse sounding how the previous one sounded before it blew. Puzzled by this.
