I bought an mk6 r20 1 week ago and it's stage 1 Apr..I'm looking for a good intake with good price and the same time I'm not going stage 2 at the moment..a friend got s stage 1 Apr carbonio intake and I can buy it for cheap price..the question is..will this intake flow enough air to my car?will it be better than OEM panel filter?as I said I'm not looking for more than stage 1 tune.
Thank you all

You will be fine with the Carbonio for Stage 1 but any higher I would suggest the Revo just to save you paying out again. If the Carbonio is cheap enough suppose that's the best option out of the two.

The carbon bit you add to the front of the intake doesn't really do anything but it look lovely. The panel filter that replaces the stock paper filter is where you'll find the most benefit. A new Pipercross or K&N filter is about £35, best option for a stage 1 tune. If you can you might want to get the map checked over as improved airflow may allow for some better power curves.
