Any guides on how to fit a peron intercooler on a edition 30?

Same way you fit any other 'direct replacement' intercooler.... Plenty of guides out there... Heres the APR one: https://www.goapr.com/support/install/Intercoolers/trans_fsi_ic_manual.pdf

I have also bought one of these, does anyone know if any trimming is required or are they a straight fit

No trimming to the car or cooler. The bottom supplied rubber hose is a little over length so needed trimming a bit to keep a smooth curve (a known thing with the Peron supplied pipe) but other than that a bolt in replacement for the stock
