Title: Fuel Pump Upgrades (RTech Stage 1+)
Post by: BenJeffrey on September 18, 2016, 08:35:08 pm
Evening all,

Looking at going to Stage 1+ (maybe Stage 2 in the future) but this is as far as i'll take the car, as I don't really plan to keep it for too long, just want to extract a bit more power!  :happy2:

Stage 1+ at RTech requires a HPFP, if I was keeping the car longer i'd go full APR... Is there an OEM alternative? I've seen the RS4 valve but is it possible to run an S3 valve or something more cost effective? Cheers  :P

If you're not planning on keeping the car that long, I'd be inclined to go just Stage 1. No mods are necessary and you'll enjoy the considerable power increase (usually about 40-50bhp).

That's actually what I did first with just a K&N panel filter. The increase in power at stage 1 is phenomenal from standard form.

Appreciate that  :happy2: I've already got the panel filter, uprated diverter valve and a decat downpipe (All ridiculously cheap!) So it should be pretty good, i'll just aim for a solid 250/255bhp then :)
