Before xmas a nice lady in her SLK wanted to enjoy my car abit more than just looking at it, so drove into me  damaged the drivers front wing and both front CH's,
Any way the car was picked up by the garage on Monday and they dropped it off at the hire company today I was like bl**dy hell they just give me a new car , cleaned polished and waxed after the repair :happy2: AND refurbish not both front wheels but all of them... :notworthy:
Spoke to the owner when I got home and just explained how over the moon I was and he said It was nice to hear stuff like that from happy customers
Massive thumbs up for Brydons in lower wortley, Leeds

No RR but she did phone me the day of the incident and asked if I would settle without using the insurance :stupid: I know in some cases yes but I would have had no car while it was getting repaired and the cost to refurb all the wheels like Brydons have done would have been silly.

I think its just the tread style on the tyre, and the fact that the tread is dirty as well on the pics. :happy2:

Looking great. The reason all four rims were refurbed was to ensure the colour matched up.
Imagine your front wheels being a different shade of silver...and yes there are thousands of shades.
Sounds like the place that did the job knew what they were doing...thumbs up! :happy2:

Good to hear you got your baby back, and could hand back the plastic fanastic Altea.
BTW, whe we saw each other on Monday we were discussing whether there had been any suspension damage with the nearside wheel contacting the kerb. Was there any or was it all cosmetic ?

^^ exactly, also the car should be uber clean as no bodyshop worth its salt lets a dirty car into a paint environment :happy2:
keep their number, bodyshops like that are hard to find these days, glad youre all sorted now :pomppomp:
-
Your car looks great, just like new.
Good bodyshops aren't always easy to find these days. Took me 4 attempts and 6 months of hassle to get my car repaired correctly after a low speed front end impact (yes, it was my fault!!). The insurance approved repairer, a nationwide chain, had 3 attempts before I gave up, rejected their repairs through the insurer and had it done right at a VW body shop.

Sounds like what happend to me a couple of weeks ago, old bloke took out complete drivers side damaged front drivers wheel and I kerbed the other front trying to avoid him, cars at VW in Chelmsford Essex will be back soon but waiting for 2 new wheels to come from BBS (CH Black's) may take a while :sad1: they said the damaged ones were safe to use though.
Hope it comes back looking as good as yours :happy2:
