Hi Guys,
Ive recently replaced my ABS unit and master cylinder in my 2.0 tdi gt and when bleeding the brakes I found that theres no brake fluid going from the ABS unit to the rear passenger brake. No fault lights come up on the dash and theres no fault codes when im scanning. Theres fluid going into the abs unit and out to the other 3 wheels just not the rear passenger wheel. Ive had the abs sensor off for that wheel and given it a clean and it looks fine but this made no difference. Totally stumped with it now so I thought id see if anyone has any ideas what it might be before I head off to the garage.
Cheers

Try taking the bleed nipple all the way out as it might be blocked mate

You might need to plug it in to vag com to bleed the abs unit

thanks for the replies. Tried taking the nipple off and there was nothing there, so traced it back to the abs and found there wasnt any coming from the unit. Ill give the garage a call n see if they can give me advice on it.
Cheers

I couldn't get any fluid out of the rear of my brakes on my gt TDI ,both bleed nipples had no dust covers on ,reckon there blocked? And if so what's the cure ? Nipple completely out and a pin to break any blockage nipple on and try bleed again ?

is the unit fitted properly? isnt there any forgotten cover inside? are you trying power bleeder or "leg method" ? try output tests with vcds for this wheel :)
