Title: Fault code help - 01089. EVAP Emissions

Hi All,

Could somebody please shed more light on this fault?

Fault code 01089 - Evap emission control sys incorrect flow. PO441 lower limit reached. Intermittent.

Check the pipes coming out the charcol canister. One might be loose or split..

Had this code and emissions light on my gti,changed the charcoal cannister and pipe,problem solved.

Whats the charcoal cannister and pipe? Do you have parts number? A price?

I bought a charcoal cannister and pipe on  eBay (do a search)from China ,arrived few days later ,fitted it and no more problems.

I think I paid about 30 quid all in ,search the net and you'll get all the info you need.
