Great site, thought I would join in. Owned my Ed30 from new for two years. White 5 door, no mods - seems quite fast enough for me as it is! Probably my age!!
Was one of the original 'complainers' to VW when they 'over produced' the Ed. Bet they don't announce numbers for the Ed35!!

I removed the Pescaras and fitted a set of BBS Monza IIs! I just prefer the look of the Monzas and................................they are much easier to clean!! :signLOL:

..........other way round for me.I got rid of the Monza alloys for the Pescaras (standard GTI).

I joined less than 2 months ago with the same intentions i.e. no modding etc. So far I've bought a pressure washer, snow foam lance and put my name down for an RNS510 on here that Darren (MortyGTTDI) can source. These are all a direct result of reading stuff on here :popcornsoda:

The itch to remap and do the suspension is growing. :drool:

Be warned, the others are right. Joining this forum is like a kid walking into a sweetie shop. :wink:

Post by: tonker3 on January 31, 2010, 11:49:32 am: I should have added by the way, that the Monzas are no longer on the car as I have refitted the Pescaras.

I was 'informed' that the Pescaras were taking up too much space in the loft. So I decided that it would be better to refit and keep the Pescaras and then hopefully sell-on the Monzas.

The Monzas with tyres will appear in the 'For Sale' Section once I have my 25 posts up.
