Hey
Anybody got a discount code for ebay i want to buy a gfb dv+
-
Very rare to get one!
Your best bet is to keep an eye in the for sale section. Many members including myself have picked one up here for about 25% off market value.
-
Apparantly a lot of fakes
I get paid friday so may just get one then
-
Do!
You won't regret it... Again if you're not in a rush I would hold on. Over the past 6 weeks I've seen 2 go for sale here!

Is the new GFB DV really better than Oem, people used to say they leaked some boost

Older models, before the revision, and certainly the fakes, did perform questionably. Vendor is key. Pretty sure Awesome GTI sell the new revision, which by all recent accounts responds faster than an OEM rev G, and should last for years.
Here's a pic I found showing the difference between a real one and a fake, although I'm not sure if the real one is pre or post revision.

I saw that photo before actually.
My GFB DV+ has a brass piece (not silver like on the left) but it's a smooth brass and clean all over.
From looking at your photo, the only difference I can see is the colour of that brass/silver thing. Anything else to look out for?
It's even brass coloured in the photos from reputable vendors - http://shop.mcgautostyling.com/gfb-electronic-boost-controller-5.html
