Hi All,
Just ordered a VWR dogbone mount.. Not sure wether to go from the £15 subframe bolts with this or the Tyrol subframe collar kit? Anyone have this installed?
Any one know of any UK sellers?
On a side note does the Vibratechnics bush (small end)
Fit in the same side as the VWR mount on the dogbone or do I also need to purchase this to complement the VWR mount?
Many thanks.

I will have a new Tyrol subframe bolt kit for sale soon. I never got round to fitting it and have now sold my car. From my research the OEM bolts will always get a little loose cause of the creaking noise, the spacer kit is a good fix but not a solution. That's where the Tyrol kit comes in. PM me if my Tyrol kit is any interest to you. It's with me in the UK and ready to post out :happy2:

Got mine from Garage Midnight on ebay but since MateyGuv has a kit you can get it from him. :happy2:

Thanks,
Price agreed with Matey. Just need to know now will the kit include all the bolts on the subframe or just 2 of them?
From what I can gather its the 2 main bolts on the subframe that get uprated.
Question is what about the rest? Do I reuse them after dropping subframe? But new ones? Or is there uprated bolts available for the remaining bolts?

Just buy new ones for peace of mind.

Do these actually work? My subframe has recently started creaking / clunking going up kerbs.

@Pudding (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=10733) I never got round to installing but people swear by them when I was doing my research about a solution. The hardware used in these kits is absolutely spot on - so it should for the cost!! Comparing the standard kit to the Tyrol is night and day

It does. Your subframe will be tight after you install the kit.

There are always cheaper versions of anything on the market, usually there is a very good reason its cheaper

He's had plenty of good feedback, if it was sub standard crap I'm sure he'd of been shot down by now ! Tyrol sport kit is a ludicrous amount of cash for what it is

Not trying to start an argument mate.... Generic re maps get very good reviews on line too but I'd never put one on my car

I've read someone saying that he got a kit that was very poorly made. Not sure if it was the same you're talking about or a different one.

No argument here bud, where all in the same boat.
Everything is open to scrunity end of the day. If those kit where gash I'm sure the Facebook community would speak up ( you'd think atleast )
The generic map thing is open to debate aswell, iv read good arguments for both,

Not fitted it yet but it is a very well designed kit!
I also installed the brake support bracket from TyrolSport last week.
It is not cheap but well crafted and thought about! There was research done!
Must say that all the products are well designed and machined!
When I install my New shocks in a couple of weeks I will install the collar kit, the 034 motorsports engine & gearbox mounts and the Superpro stuff.
I'll say my thoughts about it!
I hadden't got the time yet to drive and feel the difference in braking but this weekend I'll do a shaken down of
the parts which I fitted last week.

Picked it up from Matey, (top man)
Getting all the bits together to sort out my suspension in one go.
So far purchased VWR subframe mounts and Tryol collar kit.
Going to look into VWR dampers and spring kit next. H&R anti roll bars, rs3 mounts and superpro walk kit on the list too.
Getting expensive now but I do around 500miles a week so want nice new fresh suspension.
