Title: 1st gear problem
Post by: Bozz on October 04, 2016, 03:18:33 pm: Hi everyone, For the past couple of days it's been bloody difficult trying to put our mk5 golf gt tdi into 1st gear,, All the other gears go in without any problem, What could it be please,

. Thanks mate,, I'm taking it to a independent Audi/VW garage on Thursday hopefully it might be just what your saying

. No mate it seems to drive off fine, When you try & put the car in 1st it just feels like there's something blocking it

No with the box in
Box doest have to come out

Done this on a few cars now that used to not go into 1st and /or first and reverse

Any other symptoms of this apart from the gear selection? Noise etc?
