One for any ELSAwin geeks
Hi I've recently installed Elsawin 5.2 on Windows 7 64 (under a virtual machine, f knows why as I thought the latest versions were 64 bit compatible, maybe the guy I bought it off doesn't have a clue)
The HST2 redbook function doesn't seem to work properly? I've changed the dealer code and workshop no to 123/12345 and a few campaigns are on there but no fixes?
I hope this purchase hasn't been a waste of time!

Found it out myself, for future reference for anyone else, go into the ELSAWIN admin setup screen and modify your username with the following settings -
"You must now enter a Distributor and Dealer Number.
Use the drop down box & INPUT the following numbers for the Data disc vehicle brand supplied
VW
Distrib/imp. no: 452 Dealer number: 54325"
This will give you full access to the HST2 "Redbook" function inside elsawin, this is where you can find all the recall campaign bulletins and TPI info. :happy2:
Now I wonder, how many people have bought this with poor instructions and are consequently running a stunted version of the software without even knowing it?
