So changed coil packs an drew spark plugs so obviously battery was disconnected... someone said that you may lose your map if the battery is disconnected? Is this true? Cars not warm at the moment so haven't really tested and was on stage 1 map before

all depends who mapped the car,if it's a revo map it will set to basic settings

You do not need to disconnect the Battery when replacing the Coil-Packs or Spark Plugs :smiley:

Midlands remaps... traction light still comes on the same as before in 1st gear so seems like it hasn't lol!
I just followed a video on YouTube and they disconnected the negative terminal

I've disconnected battery loads of times with no effect on my map. But it's a custom map, so can't really comment for any other types of map

Are you serious? The revo map goes if you disconnect the battery? That can't be right at all

It reverts to basic low boost settings.

My APR 2 was fine when new battery fitted.
