Title: Factory phone holder removal

Hi all! I'm new!

I've been looking at buying my first MK5 GTi. I've noticed a few have the factory fitted phone holder next to the glove box. My question is can this be easily removed without looking unsightly after?

It will leave a hole in the panel. When I removed the holder on mine I bought a new glovebox off ebay and replaced the whole lot

hello when i removed mine i done the exactly same thing brought one off eBay prob takes around 45 mins to do a proper job. worth it thou
