Is it possible with software to switch these things off? :fighting:
-
Don't think so, people usually just unplug them?

That would work!
Thanks.

You can also set the volume to zero with VCDS I've discovered.

If you have DCC you can go into indervidral and turn it to eco which will shut it up

Yes, VCDS you can turn it off :happy2:
Or just pull the plug

I have this on my Scirocco. Would be interesting to see if this car be retrofitted to an older model. A friend with a mk2 Leon wants it

Why would you want a sound generator?!??? in my opinion, it makes the MK7 R sound like a Subaru Imprezza!! pointless!!
-
Even the new Focus RS & BMW M4 has one

If you are near Doncaster I'll turn it off for you. I did mine and its good to hear the outside burble.

Thanks for the offer, unfortunately I'm down near Portsmouth on the south coast :drinking:

I also turned off the generator, it really spoiled the sound. So I have my own camper for which I was looking for a generator but I can not determine exactly what size will suit me and what type of generator it will be. It's good that a friend recommended this article to me https://thetoolscout.com/what-size-generator-do-i-need-for-my-camper/ (https://thetoolscout.com/what-size-generator-do-i-need-for-my-camper/) and I was able to solve my problems quickly. Then I also watched video reviews on YouTube to decide on the manufacturer. So I chose Generac and was satisfied.
