Title: Are DSG paddle extensions any good?
Post by: david85williams on October 24, 2016, 11:51:36 am
Hi all,

as per the title, has anyone used this style of adhesive extension?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carbon-Fibre-DSG-Shift-Paddle-Extension-for-VW-Golf-MK5-MK6-GTI-Passat-Scirocco-/331730989423?hash=item4d3cb5316f:g:WecAAOSwr81UT5Hv

Thanks

David

Yeah they are ok, the markup on them is crazy as they are just cast plastic but they all seem to be around that price. Seeing as the stick paddles are pretty small it's not a bad upgrade. Just make sure the sticky pads are good and they mount ok as will keep falling off otherwise.

I like to have extensions but I prefer them made of black aluminium.

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure whether to get aluminium or carbon effect.

I got these about 6 months ago, look good perfect fit and never had a problem with them.
