Title: Aerial adapter from RDC300 to RCD510/RNS510

Just fitted an RCD510 this afternoon, i have noticed the aerial connection is slightly different (the rcd300 is slightly wider) - do people cut the plastic to make it fit or is there an adapter? My signal isnt really good after the fitting!

Did you make sure you but the leads the correct way? Made a little difference on mine! :happy2:

I would personally check the cost at VW as it may not be that much!

Not sure if they will be more than this from VW. You have a price to go by. Maybe some cheaper ones on the bay to! :happy2:

Don't need an adapter, there is a way of sorting it.

If it is then your option is cheaper as opposed to this I found, also genuine VW parts. I assume the cable you fitted doesn't need the pink/blue adaptor shown below.
