Title: What's it worth with a VW warranty?

Hi guys

The voice for a more practical car is calling, therefore thinking of selling the GTI :(

It has the aftermarket VW dealer warranty on it for over another year and covers pretty much everything... I've used several times and 100% worth the money and is also transferable.

It cost a fair bit when I bought the car from VW, but struggling to see what to potentially advertise it for? Would people pay extra for it?

Car is an 07 with 80k!

Depends as it doesn't cover any non factory modifications and for a 60k ish mileage car it is about £450. Also in the small print it says about having the car serviced by them I think.

Good to have but always gotta read the small print.

Cheers @slix (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=14819) the Warranty is ok providing it uses genuine parts. Car has full dealer history (same garage from new). So maybe just slightly more then I guess :). Prices seem to vary from 5k to 8.5k for the year. Job to know :)
