Title: Smashed indicator on left mirror

Some blind barstewards has hit my mirror wen the car was parked up and smashed the indicator cover on the wing mirror and took a chunk off the mirror cover!!! :mad:! only had the car a week and a half :mad:
can u buy the indicator cover separate from any where?

They're all over eBay, I'm sure you can buy them seperately from VW as well.

They were aprrox £15 from VW when I got one a couple of years back.

They are about £20 from vw including vat. Had to get one the other week when someone hit mine!!

Would look good with smoked indicator lenses on a black car :wink:

Looked on Awesome GTi's website under lighting and cost £41 for the pair.

cheers. they do look nice smoked. i took gap insurance on the finance and this covers me for up to £3500 worth of dents and scratches fixing for free. gonna try get it sorted on this. took car down 2day cos i noticed a kerb mark on the passenger alloy the day after picking the car up. they just got me a new alloy and sed i could prob keep the kerbed 1 aswell

GAP insurance is something that can be taken out from VW when you buy the car. They will pay the difference of what your insurance company offers you to what the car is worth if it is written off. They also offer other little things I think  :happy2:

Mate got a pair here you can have for free - send £5 postage to davebrown.home@btinternet.com and they'll be with you wednesday, I changed mine for inpro ones and still have the OEM ones here

yeah its from vw. i wasnt goin 2 take it but with the dint and scratch repair it seemed well worth it. no theres no excess 2 pay.

I managed to use the 2 post lift at my dealers free of charge recently to fit my Milltek Cat Back and whilst I was in there one of the mechanics gave me a mirror indicator for free, said they were prone to filling up with water so I might aswell have a spare one on the house  :drinking:
