Title: bonnet strut on the way out?

The other day when it was nippy it wouldn't keep the bonnet up but today it does....
Any ideas of how much they are if I need to replace?

I'd deffo get the proper one like in the link. I bought a spurious one from my local motor factors for €20 cos it was €40 from my local stealers.

The spurious one is manufactured by monroe so I figured it would be good.

Boy was I wrong. It's crap! I've just bought another one from the link above!!

If there's a supply problem with them I'd gladly sell you on my one for the exact cost just plus postage to wherever you live, cos in fairness it was your original post :happy2:
