What is this pipe. I literally just touched it and it snapped. the plastic thing the that the rubber pipe goes onto just snapped. What's it for and what's it going into?

That's from the charcoal canister.
You might get an evap error code but won't affect the car to drive. These pipes often break.

Would i need to replace the unit now as i can't reattach the pipe as the plastic thingy is broken?
is it safe do drive with this off?

that's just for emission. Cleaning i guess.

Yeah fine to drive. I had a fault code from this for months lol

I replaced mine for £9.90+vat from TPS. :happy2:

Just to clarify, that's for the pipe :smiley: The charcoal canister itself is a whole bunch more cash!
Same thing happened on mine but the previous bodgerowner just glued it back on, which inevitably broke off again as soon as I breathed on it.
