....I found it interesting to note that Rupo's R32 spun the front wheels but not the rears on what is '4WD' and I bet he's running a Haldex switch. My point is that it illustrates how the R32 isn't a 'true' 4WD car but has the FWD bias.

When I saw Rupo go it looked to be spinning all 4 albeit fronts first but the rears definitely were lit up.

....My thinking is that if he reduced his launch revs and hence reduced spinning his front wheels, he would improve his times. Although not so dramatic to watch.

Something I noticed about JonnyC was just how smooooth his driving is and so how he was able to be much faster in my car. Wheelspinning loses time doesn't it?

I saw a bit of both, on some runs he was spinning all 4 and on others more so the front two... Everything 4 wheel drive was murdering me off the line but I was able to pull it back once on the move, except for that tt with the big Porsche brakes, that just kept pulling away from me  :ashamed:

Hey guys,

Yeh, I think all 4 were firing up but thats how I like it! If I dont get some spin then it bogs down too much. It was working until they mopped the track and then nothing span (eek!) and it just stunk! thats when I had to bow out!

it was definately the slippiest Iv had it, Iv never had it when Iv literally sat on the line squirming to get away! You could see it on the track too. you FWD boys had slim to no chance of getting decent take offs.

need to dig out my old time slips, Id like to think my reaction times had gone down too.

I think mid to high 13's in yours Robin no probs.. Even on that run I wasn't flat til half way through 2nd gear..

With S2+ and pump mid to low 13's.. You have everything there really..

robin theres no point in arguing. just get the pump and you'll be off :P  you have the diff, the dsg, stiff suspension all you need is some stage 2+ action for some real good times on there, although if you had 2+ you would have had a real effort getting it off the line
