Hi first post see how it goes
 any help please
sorry if has been asked/done a 1000 times
but not 100% i think i can do this

 i have a Golf mk5  July 2004
 with
 DSG
 Cruise control
 and low line dash
and my right hand stalk controls the dash info
 i am getting from a mk6
steering wheel with buttons and paddles
 air bag
 air bag loom
 slip ring
and the box from the bottom of the steering column
 is this all i need
 i have access to VCDS
 also the Cruise control stalk
-
Just to add it is a 2.0 140 diesel
and have fitted a later canbus (1K0907530Q)
to stop battery drain as i have fitted a RNS315 radio/satnav
-
Have collected the parts i think i need and will try to fit this week and see what happens

-
The mk6 mfsw fits and most of the buttons work so I would think think the dsg will be ok too.

I have fitted mk6 mfsw to my 140tdi, but mine is manual.

Looks like you have all the parts required, so you're all set :)
