Title: How much to sell Monza 2 alloys for?
Post by: Adam0604 on November 28, 2016, 06:56:09 pm
Hi all.

Looking to sell my Monza 2 alloys early spring so I can free up some money to buy some track day wheels.

All 4 alloys are still in original diamond cut finish, but all 4 will need a refurb due to whiteworm and water getting under the finish causing cracks in the finish.
Don't want to pay to have them refurbed myself because whoever buys them would then have the choice to refurb as diamond cut or just powdercoat then.

No kerb marks, but I've no idea on a realistic price to sell them for. No tyres as tyres they are currently on will be scrapped after winter due to the fact they won't be legal tread.

Any ideas guys please on realistic price to sell them for?

I sold mine for 370 with tyres. Two had a very small amount of white worm one was mint and one had some kerbing.

So you reckon about 175?

If they all need refurbing (around £100 per wheel for diamond cut or half that price for powder coating) plus a full set of tyres (that's another £300-£400 depending on tyre make), I personally don't think you'll get that much for them.

I'd be looking closer to the £100 mark.

PS - I bought Shoayb's Monza's last year and they are still going strong. Two have still got a small amount of white worm, one is still mint and one still has a little kerbing on it (thanks to Shoayb!).

Hmm, you're probably right thinking about it.
Might go out at 125 collection only and see what I get back when the time comes to sell them.
