Afternoon All,
It's been a looong time since I was last here and unfortunatly my returning thread is a one where i'm going to be looking to sell my car. As I havn't been on the Forum much lately I just wondered if anyone could give me a guide as to what my car is worth. Details are as followis below......
2006 MK5 GTI DSG - Tornado Red
60,000 miles - Owned by myself for the past 5 years/20,000 miles
Full Service History
Standard Spec/Options -
Dual Zone Climate Control, Xenon Headlights c/w Washers, Sunroof, Dual Zone Climate Control, Electric Drivers Seat
Modifications (all carried out by mesely, I bought it Standard) -
RCD 510 (removed from a Brand New Scirocco at the time), Audi S3 Front Brakes (Good Discs and Pads), 18" BBS VZ Wheels (Good Falken Tyres), ITG Intake System, Piper/Milltek TBE, Stage 2 Remap, R32 Rear Lights, Colour Coded Side Skirts, Front Spoiler and Rear Bumper, Custom Interlagos Cloth Trimmed Gearstick, LED Interior Lights and a few other small bits and pieces
The car has been my Pride and Joy, Never Smoked in and Never had any Pets in. To be fair, the Rear Seats are Like New. I also have all the Standard Parts
There is a small chip of paint which has come off the Side Skirts and the car is due a Timing Belt and DSG Service (which I can get done at my local Specialist for around £400-£450
Any ideas on a Value folks?!

£6500 sounds like a good price to me. But some pics will also help to make it easier

Thanks for your input folks. It hasn't changed much Andy considering in my 5 years of ownership it's averaged around 4K per year, the past couple of years it's done around 2k per year! It's had new S3 Discs and Pads no more than 4K ago and it's just been maintained. I'll get everything together and get an advert sorted, I'm only selling it as I'm going to start racing bikes next year and it's a waste sat on the drive, I still absolutely love the car!
How's things with you Andy? You still got the MK5 Diesel?

I think the lower milers and good condition GTI's are starting to stand out in price now. There's a lot of dogs out there with moon miles popping up for next to nothing, so it's about right that you can demand more. Whereas a short while ago I noticed the prices were all around the same regardless
