hey all!!
just wondering what type of boost gauge I should have in relation to psi, bar or kpa??
how do I find out how much boost my car is running? its a 1.4 tsi mapped to 208bhp if thats any help?
cheers, southy

You can use any gauge set up as it's just a case of converting between units, although many prefer talking about boost in psi. Lots of people run DEFI gauges or New South, depends on how close to the OEM look you want (colour matching on illuminated dials).

Have you got the url that you have been looking at handy - I'll go take a look.

You'll only need a 0-30psi gauge as the highest you'll see even on a K04 is around 24psi. :happy2:

Get any make you like that is reputable. I like DEFI.
Get the readout in kPa or BAR, it's what the world uses. PSI is backwards and American.
-
I don't think the DEFI gauge comes with BAR reading.
-
Yes it does?

The bar (symbol bar) is a unit of pressure equal to 100 kilopascals

Edit: just so's y'alls know, that's mine.
