hi guys
Hope you all good,
Wondering if you could help, Im just about to buy a Golf GTI mk5 off my mate who just had it on lease, VW wants a buy out of £7500, its a 54REG 2005, with full leather, winter pack, 62K miles, 2 owners with obviously full VW history,
Just wondering wether you may think this is a good deal, and also when do the GTI's have the cam belt changed?
Anything else you think I should look for?
Really appreciate your help
Joao

welcome on board :happy2:
i'd never buy a car off of any of my mates i know how they drive them

You'd be hard pressed to get a GTI with that spec and mileage for any less. Seems a good price to me, a lot of car for the money! :happy2:
Welcome btw! :drinking:

I agree with Greenouse - £7.5k isn't bad at all.
The cambelt change should have been done at 4yrs or 40k miles
Welcome to the forum

Thanks for the comments guys, I thought so,...I was only a little bit worried about the cam belt as well,....but since it had full vw history im able to check whether it has been done.
I just have to wait 2 weeks until the lease is finished,....
