Title: Hello all, new to the forum

Hope you all good,
Wondering if you could help, Im just about to buy a Golf GTI mk5 off my mate who just had it on lease, VW wants a buy out of Â£7500, its a 54REG 2005, with full leather, winter pack, 62K miles, 2 owners with obviously full VW history,

Just wondering wether you may think this is a good deal, and also when do the GTI's have the cam belt changed?
Anything else you think I should look for?

Really appreciate your help

The cambelt change should have been done at 4yrs or 40k miles

I thought it was 60k or 4 years. :confused:

I just have to wait 2 weeks until the lease is finished,....
