Hi guys newbie here what's the difference between resonated and non resonated? And what are the pro's and cons of either?

Non res is louder as there isn't a middle box, mine is non res but it can drone at motorway speeds.

Mines non res and I don't find it overly loud and I'm not a fan of loud exhausts. In fact if I didn't know, I'd think it was standard.

I had a resonated on a mk5 gti and liked the fact it wasn't too loud but just had a deeper tone to it

Plus 1 on this - if I didn't know anything I would have thought my non res was standard. Pretty subtle sound not overly loud

If you get a miltek then go Non res

I had a resonated miltek and it was quieter than the standard system.

Swapped it for a no resonated cobra and now its a bit much lol

Miltek exhuasts are baffled well to keep the sound down
