Title: Which vw units will fit my mk 5?

Me again, is there a list of dd vw head units that will fit my 06 GTI and do they only fit from certain models or are all the different ones available in say a polo 1.1 diesel or a 4x4 if you get what I mean, I've considered contacting people selling their cars for a stereo switch plus cash obviously but not sure which models of cars or stereo to look at.

I just want it to look standard fitment, sat nag would be ideal.

Thanks for the reply Andy  :wink:, just wondering if I can or if it's possible to fit a 2016 model or anything in between or is there a year where it's incompatible?

You can fit the newer stereos in older models  with supporting mods

I have a RNS315 in my mk5
gives me
satnav
bluetooth (with music streaming)
DAB
SD Card
cd with mp3
and linkes to my 6 cd changer and steering wheel controls
