Title: Xenon depo question (DRLS)
Post by: omar2222 on December 27, 2016, 11:17:46 pm: Hi all, i searched this topic a lot on the forum but couldnt find an exact answer..

if i buy the depo's off ebay for my mk5, and activate US DRL will i get the amber strip all the way across?

or will i need i need to buy genuine xenons to have that feature?

i just want the full amber sidelight US DRL feature, not fussed about whether genuine or depo headlights .

can i not put an amber sidelight and match it to the indicator and have em coded to run all the time together in the depo?

why not Raz mine are full amber depo ?

In a word yes...!!! Not sure how that looks when indicating...but it's possible...I decided against it in the end

Ah, I have white LED Sidelights so thats why. If you have amber sidelights then it will look like a full amber strip

Ah, I have white LED Sidelights so thats why. If you have amber sidelights then it will look like a full amber strip
yeah you need amber bulbs to get the full strip like mine :grin:
