Just messaged them on eBay the other day about the vwr springs, I was cheeky and said any chance of a Christmas discount like £175 and they came back with £190 delivered down from £220  :happy2:

@spwd (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=4339) is it the lowering springs? I'm after a set for my DSG Gti but can't seem to find more than a couple of reviews on them

				Good guys at Awesome!

I asked a similar cheeky question when ordering powerflex front bushes and engine mounts...first time customer and they gave me 20% off  :happy2:

 Yes the 10/15mm ones
-
Let me know how you get on with them - interested to see if the ride is still the same as OEM as I don't want to make it harsher

-
I have VW racing springs on my ED30 Gwent VW here are doing a deal on them and thy are cheaper than £190 put it that way  :happy2:

Ride is like standard really, but obv the car sits a little lower so win win really  :driver:

 No probs :happy2:

If you do want them Ring Gwent VW and ask for Shak he will sort you out a good deal. I'm sure I payed something like £200 fitted but would have to check my receipt to be 100%.
-
I was being sarcastic  :signLOL:, I've already ordered from Awesome and posted the info as soon as I could to possibly help others get a discount but that's a bloody good deal fitted, lucky  :fighting: lol

-
Charlie have you got pics with them on?

 Here is mine also

Nice one guys, thanks, is the ed30 lower as standard or will they lower my gti the same, I can't remember?

-
i have a set on my GTI that i've paired up with the VWR performance shocks. the springs dont really lower the car a whole lot and maybe i would of wanted more but it rides just as good as stock and does improve handling a bit. i think it'd be even better with anti roll bars.

Can the same springs be used on DSG? As I can't seem to see any DSG/manual variations

-
I don't think, well I hope there isn't any difference because mines dsg too.

Is this the kit you have? I am seriously considering it. IMO you can tell your car is dropped, but only by a small amount.
