Title: Inlet manifold/valve clean Golf Gti Mk5
Post by: Trav Turbo on January 09, 2017, 06:34:17 pm
Hello I'm looking to get my car mapped soon & wanting to get my inlet valves cleaned before. Is it a fairly easy Diy job if handy with tools?

Or is there a how to do it link?

Thanks in advance

It's a bit fiddly and time consuming, but easy enough if as you say handy with tools. This APR runner flap delete guide gives a good run down on what to expect https://www.goapr.com/support/install/Accessories/2.0T_FSI_RFD/fsi_runner_flap_delete.pdf

Here's a DIY I posted a couple of months ago....

Hope that helps. Lot of work for not much benefit. But I don't regret having done it :happy2:
