How much it would cost to have the lower rear bumper (black plastic) painted in candy white (to match the rest of the car)?
And is it a straightforward job?
Cheers

It depends, if you have the standard bumper it will need to be sanded and smoothed first off before they can prime and paint it for you.
Check ebay as i found one in black that had been smoothed already, bought it for £35 and the paid VW to paint in CW for £100, then sold my old one for £65 :rolleye: so worked out cheap!
To get it done in one place i think you could be looking at anything from £200 to £350 :happy2:

My car is going into the bodyshop next week to have the rear bumper, side skirts, and front splitter (standard one) sanded and painted reflex silver, costing me £250 for the lot!
-
^^ Thats cheap - I was quoted nearly £400 for just the back bumper and suddenly took a shine to the contrast black on red offers...
Mates rates?
-
That is cheap big al!!!!
I'd budget for about 250-350 for the rear bumper, 100 for the sideskirts and maybe 100 for the front splitter.
Where are you based Courgette?

I know its cheap, was really hard to play it cool when he quoted me on the phone the other day.
Owner of Midland VW reccomended them to me, said he took his Cupra there to have its work done, so think I did manage to get a bit of mate of mates rate!

I've just had mine done .... paid £190+VAT and paid about £45 for the valance from Awesome seeing as mines a soot chucker.
The bodyshop sanded it all down, used a high build filler primer to smooth it then went about painting it.
