Title: Rear right hand side door will not LOCK

Hi,
My first post here so hopefully it's in the right section.

My problem with a Mk5 Golf 1.6 FSI I bought recently is I just realised rear right hand side (driver side) door will not lock at all. Also the window doesn't open. I think there might be loose connection which preventing locking of the door and opening window. Child locking locks it from inside, but all other locking still allows it to be unlocked from outside.

Someone help me out?

Have a look and make sure the wires aren't split between the b pillar and the door inside the rubber boot

had the same problem with mine it was a faulty door modual but my windows still worked

It could be the cable inside has snaped same thing happened on my previous vw
