Title: Replaced DV, still getting P2261 code

I have replaced my DV today with the more recent G version after finding a fault P2261 DV mechanical fault.
Cleared the fault after doing the work and simply revved it a little on the driveway, the code immediately came back up.
Original DV version C that came out looked sound with no tears or anything. I am now insure what to try next to diagnose, and not sure if the car could be underperforming as a result.
Any other DIY fixes to try?

If the rev c looked ok and you have replaced with a rev g and still getting the fault code try checking the wires and connections to the DV as that could be an issue
