Title: Mk5 golf headlining change to a black one

I bought a black headlining for a GTI and changed mine from a grey one to black. Got a problem with it, the rear lights don't work but the front ones do. Do they different wiring or something? I checked for any broken points in the ribbon wire I can't see any.
Any suggestions

Sorted it. It was the wiring mine had different wiring than the GTI one. Changed over the headlining wiring all sorted
