Title: Fitting Recaro Wing backs.
Post by: Chargercharger on January 26, 2017, 10:33:33 am
Hi there .

I have a donar mk5 gti with heated leather gti recaro wingbacks . I plan to fit them to my gti that has stock
Heated recaro seats with airbags.

My question , will the seats plug straight into my cars seat wiring loom.

Where can i buy resistors to make sure my airbag light stays off , or can it be turned off using a diagnostics machine?  Also , do they seatbelt catches have switches aswell ?

Thanks Adam

I've had my Recaros for 2-3 years now and they are superb!

Either make the resistors yourself:-

Or buy them here:-

Other than that the heating/seatbelts just plug in then sit back and enjoy the seats!!

There epic !

All fitted , only issues is one heated seat isnt working . It was so guessing wiring must be slightly different in the plug .
