Title: Pcv delete or not?
Post by: b7unr on January 27, 2017, 09:37:10 pm: Hi as previously mentioned I'm no mechanic but am interested in pcv delete, I'm not sure what it does or understand what is does, but does it make any difference to performance or will it help the engine.
Basically if it's beneficial I'll buy one?

I just run the OEM Factory Revision R, No problems at 320BHP :happy2:

Got anything to back up that claim about Forge items? Run one of them myself and not had any issues so far but always interested to read up on things like this!

Specifically at idle and on over run etc. (Vacuum). It's caused by forcing both crank and cam gas pressure in to the intake pipe via the tiny recess in the back of the plate. The R-Tech kit only channels the cam area pressure through this route via a much larger recess in the plate, whilst the crank case pressure is vented elsewhere.

Seen a lot of discussion about the fact most catch cans don't actually catch oil or much other than water. Not seen any evidence of smoke on my car since fitting it but shall certainly monitor things.
