Title: Need to decide how my new front in the TDI should look like - Show me yours! :)

Hi guys.

Since I have a paint job for the car I want to fit a new front and back since the standard TDI ones are pretty booorrrrrrriiiing :(......

My TDI is from 2004 , so guessing MY2005 - Did read the facelift only came on 2006 models so I need to swap everything out to fit a new end?


Need some inspiration to help me decide which front I should pick! - Show please show me what you've got at your mk5's :)

You can put the face lift bumper on like I did...

But every  body  was doing it so changed it back

Which center pieces work with the facelifted bumper?.

Can I do honey combs in the centre and the ones you've got for the fogs? And which fog lights fit? :smiley:

You need the Gti grill and fog lights

But other than this, it's straight swap or do I have to buy anything else to make it work? :)

You just need to trim the bumper to make it fit as the slam panel is different to the newer bumper

Thanks mate. I'll go searching see if I can find a decent one for the right price hehe.

Just keep looking on eBay bay as I got mine for £40 geniune one
