Title: Bilberry - Diamond cut
Post by: prp74 on February 14, 2017, 04:15:04 pm
Hi, I use bilberry on my monza's and they always come up nicely. Just wondering if it is safe to use on my Santaigo's which are diamond cut?

Also any other recommendation for another brand which is safe to use on diamond cut alloys?

It'll be fine. Only thing to avoid it on is bare metal as it's slightly alkaline and can make it go milky.

I snowfoam with close to pH neutral homemade foam.

Soak for 10mins. Bucket wash with warm water and lambswool mitt.

Dry off with a brand new microfibre every time.

Never powerwash them and don't leave harsh chemicals on them for any duration.

Also be careful when applying tyre cleaner, I use a VW cleaner which I apply sparingly and dry off so it doesn't drip onto the alloy.
