I have noticed twice now a small puddle of lime yellow liquid in the middle of the garage floor where I park my GTi - the rear third of car. I am trying to work out what it could be as. It did not have any smell and did not look oily.
-
Possibilities:
Air con refrigerant with dye in it used for leak tracing by a previous owner.
Aftermarket generic coolant.
Predator blood. It bleeds, which means you can kill it.
Have you actually checked over the car for leaks? That is the normal first step. Place some cardboard on the floor next time and look directly above the patch for the source of the leak.

Yes, I have had a look and it appears to becoming from between the rear wishbone mounts and exhaust leading into the rear box.
I don't know how it could be AC refringent as I would of thought all the pipes for that would be at the front and not the rear.

Brake fluid, damper oil, something spilled inside car, like de-icer.......who knows. As said, place something clean on the floor, get under the car and look directly above the puddle for the source.

Just a thought this, which will probably be rubbished by the well informed guys on here, (or indeed by you if your screen wash additive is deep blue!) but, my screen wash additive is lime yellow. I believe the pipe serving the back screen wash goes from the screen wash reservoir down the offside of the car, up the back wheel arch, side column and to the tailgate. Could be leaking. (I can hear the raspberries being blown now!)

I think the culprit has been found!

Pee after a berocca?

My screen wash is blue.
But I will do as said and have a look directly at where the leak is coming from, that is, if it is actually leaking from above where I can see the small puddle.
